Whole Unit Badges In the Autumn term we will be working on THREE badges! Get your sewing fingers on. During Brownie sessions over the next sixteen weeks we will be working towards:
| Badges you can do on your own As well as earning the badges we do together as a unit, there are lots of exciting badges that you can do on your own over holidays or weekends if you are at a loose end. A few of the badges suited to being done independently are:

How to provide evidence for your badges
When you do badges on your own it can be hard to prove that you have done every clause. We leaders have put our heads together and come up with some ways you can prove that you have completed each section so that you can get all of the badges you deserve.
- Photographs - we love to see pictures of what you get up to outside the meeting place. We can also upload these pictures to the website gallery (as long as you and your parents are happy for us to!)
- Signatures - a signed note from a teacher/ tester/ other adult can be proof enough. Especially for something like the swimming badge!
- Bring in something - bringing in an example of what you have done to Brownies means we can all share in your adventures at Pow Wow, you may also inspire other Brownies to give the badge a go.
- Complete the worksheets - often, if we have been doing a badge as a unit, we will send home a worksheet for you to fill in to finish off the badge. This means that if you miss a week you can still get the badge by bringing in the finished worksheet.
Brownies is not supposed to be like school and Badges are supposed to be fun, not homework. You only need to do the work if you want to (and if you want the badge). We will never tell you off for not doing something at home.
