How to get involved
Girlguiding has changed the way it handles new member enquiries to make the process smoother, improve communication channels and comply with data protection regulations.
As a result, units can no longer deal with enquiries directly and will instead direct you to the new website which is used for registering interested members for all sections. Once you have sent your enquiry through the system and entered all of your emergency contact information, the unit will be informed and will get in contact with you to discuss the opportunities they have for joining them.

New Brownie enquiries
In general, any new (non-adult)members will be invited to join us at the beginning of each academic term when places are available, but may be invited to a taster meeting before that.
New Adult or Young Leader enquiries
At 3rd Headington we are always keen to encourage more adults to get involved in the movement. Our leadership team obtains many benefits from the process of leading and running the unit which feeds into our lives outside the meeting place.
